This page is intended to keep a list of active Guest Speakers from the industry who are interested in participating in the IBA guest speaker sessions which are typically conducted twice in each semester in most of the courses. Brief Description of Talk: Mr. Sheikh talked about the career opportunities that exist for "data" people and how students should plan their career.The main focus of the talk was on the application of business intelligence and analytics in fields as diverse as logistic and supply chain, risk management in banks, insurance and telecommunications, fraud management, direct marketing, etc.

Brief Description of Talk: The title of Mr. Farid's talk was "All models are wrong, some models are more useful than others." Mr. Farid talked about his experience of providing risk management services to banks, acturial firms and blue chip companies and the role different models play in support of this activity.
